A coral frag is the shortened name for a fragment of coral broken from its parent, from which more hard coral can be propagated. Each frag will develop into a new coral, thus saving reefs one frag at a time in the wild.

Global weather phenomenon, El Nino, has ended it’s reign in 2016. However the effects of rising sea temperature and lower sea fall levels has contributed to coral deaths commonly known as bleaching. Starting this year 2017, Divers Cove would like to give back to nature for what nature has provided us.

2 to 4 divers adopt 1 reef web structure
Dive and secure structure in assigned location.
Cable tie coral frag to reef web structure
Upon completion, tag individual name plates
A monthly photo update will be emailed to participants. Leisure Dives (2 dives):
